Brothers Who Tortured Boys To Be Sentenced

Two brothers are expected to be sentenced today for attacking and torturing two young boys

The 11 and 12-year-old - who cannot be named - have been in court this week in Sheffield.

The boys attacked their victims in Edlington in South Yorkshire last April, luring the nine and 11-year-old to a secluded spot and subjecting them to 90 minutes of violence and sexual humiliation.

Sheffield Crown Court has heard how the victims - who are uncle and nephew - were strangled, hit with bricks, made to eat nettles, stripped and forced to sexually abuse each other.

The elder boy was seriously injured when pieces of a ceramic sink were dropped on his head.

The two-day hearing has heard that one of the brothers told police he attacked his victims because he was bored.

Yesterday it was claimed the pair grew up in a "toxic homelife", witnessing serious domestic violence.

Peter Kelson QC, for the elder brother, said his young client watched ultra-violent films like the Saw movies, had access to pornographic DVDs, drank cider, had 10 cigarettes a day and smoked cannabis grown on his father's allotment from the age of nine.

Today, Charles Garside QC will outline the history of the younger boy, who has already been described by a psychiatrist as a "very high risk" to the community and in danger of becoming a "seriously disturbed psychopathic offender".

The judge is then expected to pass sentence on the pair.

The brothers have pleaded guilty to causing their victims grievous bodily harm with intent, robbery and intentionally causing a child to engage in sexual activity.

They have also admitted causing another 11-year-old actual bodily harm a week before the torture incident.



I'm surprised we aint spoke about this more as its been all over the news...its just pure luck that we haven't had a double James Bulger on our hands again and these 2 viler little shits than even Venables and Thompson were as these 2 seem to have done this to other kids too.......


The only reason they stopped the beating is because their arms started to hurt.....

When asked on a scale of 1-10 how close they'd come to killing the lads they shrugged and said 8-9...

The psychiatrist on the case said the younger brother needs locking up for a significant length of time because he is well on his way to becoming a psycopath...

Given indertiminate sentence of a minimum of 5 years........

I remember this case when it happened and never realised the two brother did such evil things!. These boys are just wrong! No remorse, no fear of what or why they did these things, nothing.

5 years Minimum? ...........They will still only be 17, are they really going to be thinking that much different by that time? At 17 kids are more rebellious than ever?

Apparently the family are a disgrace, had them watching porn and smoking weed at the age of ten.

This was according to social workers. Oh really? And that didn't raise alarm then? Why the fuck didn't they do something then??

Cos they are too busy taking kids of the people who don't deserve it! A case like that was probably too 'touchy' and involved too much work.

These fuckers are as much to blame as anyone else. Kids don't become monsters, they are taught to be monsters ... and if someone is 'lucky' enough to stumble upon it before it gets out of hand, they should do something about it and not shy away.
