I keep seeing it on IPT and confusing it with a grown up movie in me collection...
Dollhouse is an American science fiction television series that was created by writer and director Joss Whedon under Mutant Enemy Productions. It premiered on February 13, 2009, on the Fox network and was officially cancelled on November 11, 2009[3] The final episode aired on January 29, 2010. Production wrapped in December 2009, with a total of 27 episodes produced.[4][5]
The show revolves around a corporation running numerous underground establishments (known as "Dollhouses") across the globe which program individuals referred to as Actives (or Dolls) with temporary personalities and skills. Wealthy clients hire Actives from Dollhouses at great expense for various purposes. The series primarily follows the Active known as Echo, played by Eliza Dushku (who also acts as producer), on her journey towards self-awareness.
Dollhouse has received mixed reviews; Robert Bianco of USA Today describing it as a show "that Joss Whedon's most devoted fans will debate and embrace, and a mass audience just won't get."

Great time to pick it up...it's been cancelled.
I liked it; Quite a lot actually, but FOX has a habit of cancelling shows that I like.
Make way for another 'dancing with the fucking stars' type jobby or some other such shite.

When I say it's cancelled... FOX dicked about with the show since the first season, but they did give them the chance to create some sort of 'closure' for the fans, so there are still 2 full seasons to watch (13 episodes each), the finale was last night. I'm about to watch Epitaph two myself...

Still haven't watched it yet ... downloaded the first few ep's of this and the first few from 'Jericho' at the same time ... and so far Jericho is winning the toss, great show.

Jericho is another of the culled shows. Sanctuary and Stargate Universe is another although rumours are those 2 shows are being made still. Sanctuary has Amanda Tapping in it and the show is more entertaining than Dollhouse.
Dollhouse has its moments of worthy watching and interspersed with I'd rather watch paint drying. Shame I think Eliza is a good actress. Joss is definitely one of the better producers of shows.
Fox is just crap at running anything as they schedule them to run at the stupidest times and wonder why the viewing figures are so low. Think of StarTrek the original shows, this was one of the scheduling cock-ups - so all the shows Fox have culled may yet arise from the ashes and become huge cult shows with spawns.
