| Yes mate, you dont expect go out to the footy and not come back eh.....apparently driving conditions were atrocious... ]Rangers striker Nacho Novo is at the centre of a police investigation following an incident at the end of his side's 1-0 defeat by Aberdeen.
Novo was photographed with his shorts lowered beneath his buttocks as he walked off the Pittodrie pitch after Saturday's Clydesdale Bank Premier League match.
The 30-year-old could now face police action or disciplinary procedures from his club or the Scottish Football Association.
A Grampian Police spokeswoman said: "We can confirm we are investigating an incident involving a player at the end of the Aberdeen-Rangers match.
"As a procedure both clubs will be contacted and the appropriate action will be taken."
Rangers, whose defeat was their first in the SPL this season, declined to comment on the issue.

| A scouser was walking his dog when he bumped into a genie. The genie granted him one wish. The scouser said "I wish that my dog would win Crufts" The dog had 3 legs, dreadful fleas, most of its teeth missing and only one ear ! The genie replied "I'm a genie, not a friggin miracle worker, make another wish"
The scouser replied "ok then, i wish Liverpool to win the premiership title"
The genie shook his head and said "giz another look at that frigging dog!"

| Celtic midfielder Marc Crosas claims the criticism the Parkhead players have received for much of this season has been good for them. Tony Mowbray's side are staring at a Europa League exit tonight when they welcome surprise Group C leaders Hapoel Tel Aviv to Celtic Park. The Glasgow side, who were knocked out in the qualifying stages of the Champions League by Arsenal, need to beat the Israeli club and win at Rapid Vienna later in the month, while hoping second-placed Hamburg lose both their remaining games. Mowbray's team have been similarly troubled domestically, crashing out of the Co-operative Insurance Cup to Hearts although, somewhat ironically, Saturday's 3-1 home win over St Mirren took them back top of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League. While recent and at times relentless criticism from the fans and media, some of which was accepted by midfielder Aiden McGeady last week when he said he would not pay to watch the team at the moment, has irked Mowbray, Crosas was less defensive. "The criticism is normal," the Spaniard said. "It is good for us as well because we need to improve every day. "Everybody knows we need to be better. "In terms of the league, we are top and that is all that really matters. "We have played some good football this season and the first game against Aberdeen at Pittodrie was brilliant. "It was good for the fans to see us win at home against St Mirren on Saturday.

| Blackburn captain Ryan Nelsen is tired of near misses in domestic cup competitions. Rovers host Chelsea in the Carling Cup tonight having bowed out of thetournament at the same stage for the last two years. During Nelsen's time at the club, Blackburn have also twice reached the FA Cup semi-finals, and the defender hopes the team will be ready to seize the moment this time around. "In the five years I have been here, we have got really close on a number of occasions and it becomes really frustrating," Nelsen said. "When you get to this level, it is about taking your chances and hopefully they will fall for us. "If we can do what we need to do at both ends of the park, then hopefully we can sneak through." Blackburn will also be looking to make amends for the 5-0 defeat they suffered at Stamford Bridge earlier in the season. Several members of the squad had swine flu at the time and Nelsen believes they will now be able to give a much better account of themselves in front of their home crowd. "The team that played Chelsea a few weeks ago should have been on a sick bed more than on a playing field, so we will be fresher," Nelsen continued. "Chelsea have the quality to beat any team by any score and they proved that on Sunday against Arsenal. We know what we are up against - an extremely good team. "But at Ewood Park, I think we are a bit of a different story. "The home form since Sam Allardyce has been here has been perfect - we have lost only twice and it's pushing on for a year now. | |

| Ki Sung-Yong arrived in Glasgow on Tuesday night to seal his £2million move to Celtic and revealed his dream - to make his debut against Rangers at Parkhead on January 3 and score. The 20-year-old South Korean is expected to complete his move from FC Seoul in the next few days following a medical. However, he will first of all sample the atmosphere of Celtic Park at tonight's Europa League clash with Hapoel Tel Aviv. "If I scored against Rangers, it would be fantastic - the most important moment of my life," he told The Daily Record. "It is a dream of mine. "I'm going to the Hapoel game and it will be an incredible experience. "I don't think I'll forget my first Celtic match. "I met Scott McDonald in Korea when Australia were there and he told me about the fans and how passionate they are. "I can't wait to feel that emotion for myself." If the deal goes through without any hitches, Ki will reportedly sign a three-and-a-half-year deal before returning to Korea this weekend. He will officially report back as a Celtic player later this month. Ki, voted Asian young player of the year, reiterated his recent admission that Liverpool midfield ace Steven Gerrard was his role model. He said: "I can promise I'm here to try to win the SPL title. "I want to settle into Celtic as quickly as possible so I can help the team right away. "And because I am a young player, I have a lot of energy. "I do a lot of running. I can pass and shoot and want to be like Steven Gerrard because he's my hero. "I can't wait to show what I can do."
"He'll shoot, He'll score, He'll eat your Labrador, Ki Sung-Yong, Ki Sung-Yong..."

| Former Rangers defender Colin Jackson believes the Ibrox club should cash in on Madjid Bougherra in January. The Algerian defender is out of favour with Light Blues' boss Walter Smith at the moment after his recent failure to return from international duty on time, his third similar indiscretion. Team-mates Lee McCulloch and Kenny Miller criticised the attitude of the former Charlton player with Miller reportedly involved in a training ground bust-up with him last Friday. Asked whether he thought the Gers should sell the 27-year-old when the transfer window opens, Jackson said: "I've met him two or three times and he speaks good English, so there's not a problem with that. "I don't know what his problem is, I don't know why he's done this but he's done it more than once and I can see why frustration has arisen. "I'm sure Walter must be thinking 'enough's enough'. "It's a strange situation to be in. He's a good player and they could get a good bit of money for him. "It may be that the best move is to get some money in. "And so from that angle, yes." Jackson continued: "From a playing angle I like watching Bougherra. "He's the kind of player Rangers need. "But if the money was there, I'm talking a big sum, a few million pounds, I think Rangers would part with him." Smith may have little say in Bougherra's future. The cash-strapped Ibrox club are reportedly £31million in debt and may have to claw back some money, with the Algerian arguably their biggest asset. The search continues for a buyer for the club with Florida-based businessman Graham Duffy recently outlining his plans for a possible takeover. Jackson, speaking at Ibrox where he was helping publicise the forthcoming auction of Rangers' legend Alan Morton's medals, hopes the takeover comes soon - but only if the "right person" is involved. "In any kind of business it's the same thing," he said. "You want things to run smoothly and to do that you need the takeover to operate smoothly and you need the right person, which is the main thing. "Finding the right person to take over a football club is not an easy issue and I think that's what people tend to forget. "You can't afford to take snap decisions when you are talking about millions of pounds, thousands of supporters and the club's history. "It must be seen to be done correctly."

| Celtic winger Aiden McGeady has admitted he is flattered to be linked with a move to the English Premier League. Birmingham City have been linked with a move for the Republic of Ireland international with Blues boss Alex McLeish thought to be an admirer of the player. The 23-year-old says that while he is happy to stay in Glasgow, the club will make a final decision on his future. "I am still fairly young. I'm 23 and every player has aspirations to play at the top level and I won't deny that I feel that way too," McGeady told the Daily Record. "But things are starting to go a bit better here than they were before. I'm happy at Celtic. "There was a point a few months back when I probably wasn't, but I'm starting to get back to enjoying it the way I did before. That's down to the change of style in the football we're being asked to play. "If a team comes in with a bid then I'm still under contract until 2013. Like I say, though, everyone wants to play in England or abroad. I won't deny I have those ambitions. "However, it's not up to me whether or not I go at the moment. "Of course, I'm aware of the transfer talk when people are talking about me and I'm very flattered by it but I don't take too much notice. "If a bid comes in and the club accepts it then that is not down to me."

| We will beat Liverpool today, I'm actually quite confident about it ... watch out for Kalanic, a few round these parts have been questioning the signing of him but he was top rate in the midweek and i reckon is gonna be a star.
If theres one thing Big Sam can do, its spot a player ... watch this space.
