| chatsworth is always good if you want history belvoir castle ,history+pics alton towers is cool too for history and thrills a football match is different, birmingham has a sea world so that could pass some time thorpe cloud is good for the lungs ,lots of fresh air and photos there is always blackpool or skeggy
what might be cool is some brewery's have tours of the plant and put a talk on with snap and free beer ,might be worth googling | |

| I still think the old town of Chester is a good one, loads of shops, pubs and restaurants with great architecture too and only an hour away | |

| Take them to the potteries, you got shopping and history thrown in. I am sure I read you can have a go at doing some pottery stuff, might have been somewhere else I tend to read ahead of where I am sometimes. You could always show them the canal network that passes through. Old and new narrowboats n plenty of photography material. If they like photographing rubbish, plenty of that floating there too. Except if its my boat and then you get told to bogoff, especially if my undies are drying up front. Sorry useless don't know that area that well,I just cruised through at a rapid, 4 knots to get out of there before the night closed in n stones came reining down, care of the bored teen tearways. | |

| You know something, i may have to lurk and start looking out for your bloody boat if you keep shitting on my city..... I'll be the first to stone it, undies ' n' all...... I may even stand over some bridge and drop an A.C.M.E anchor for you to catch......... | |

| You are not stoning my undies or my boat. As for anchors don't need one thank you I have a hubby to throw overboard if I need to stop. Or at least pretend I need him to abandon ship. Anyway, its towpath talk and I tell you this for nothing, towpath talk srpeads faster than grapevine gossip. So I've let the towpath know you are wearing only a very cheeky little number. I didn't shit on your city, I emptied my cassette before I go to it so ner. | |
