Microsoft office needed!!!

Does anyone have a reliable link to a downlaodable microsoft office.
The trial one i had installed on my laptop has expired, so i can't use word or excel. I need to install one that doesn't require a product key, or at least comes with one.

Have Vista on the laptop (not sure if that is relevent or not)?

I'd suggest that you use Open Office but if you really want Microsoft Office then(removed) is probably just as good as any.

I've heard open office mentioned by a few people, but will it open documents already written using Word, and would would documents written using ipen office open with word?

Also i have a ton of different Fonts installed on my laptop, so would i be able to use them with open office?

Yes and yes. Open office can read and write the Microsoft office format.

Open office is free to use and you can get add ons to enable opening up word if it hasn't already got hem preinstalled for you.

I've used it since it first came out and never have issue with it. Less resource hogging than microsoft word and I can open Microsofts stuff in it no problem.

Think i might just give this thing a GO. One last question, is it just word documents or can it do the same stuff as exel?

Writer is the OOo equivalent of Word and Calc is the equivalent of Excel; It's a suite, like Microsoft's Office...
