Watched it last night...
First half hour is disturbing, child abuse always is obviously, but the acting is fuckin awful, not so much by the kids but by the adults involved considering they are all renowned actors and actresses...

Turned it off once he was adult because it became less dramatic...

The book would be superb, the movie due to the acting, not so much so....

4/10...
