| Feeling abit guilty of not being picky of Fion'as poems, which are far better than mine. So here's my pitiful attempts. Who? Who is she? Whose face, looks back at me? An echo of someone Is she, just a reflection? Of somebody, that I once knew? That I have now said. Adieu
The End Time has run out for me, In this world of no dignity. Laying surrounded by my smashed dreams My heart, so heavy, that it makes my tortured soul screams. As I gasp for my last breath, I see a world full of pain, and distress. A picture far removed of what I once thought, A world in which I could not stop this, violent onslaught. This world of suffering pain and no hope, A dying world, one, in which I could not cope. Reflected in the eyes, of a tainted child, I saw all the hurt and beguiled. Hands stainded red, with the blood, of others. Millions of silent screams, whoses echo thunders. Now, I must leave this world I could not save,This Earth, that we made our slave. Now to never hear, my simple song, This sad world, which I do not belong. My voice will not sing it's quiet lullaby, Whose soft and peaceful lyrics now won't ever, pacify. World full of anger and cold bitterness, My words now fall silent, and now will not show, the wonderfulness. That surrounds each child, woman, and man, Wishes and happiness, lay broken on the ground, like my plan. This world tha turned so cold, with people made of ice. Our plantery home, to which my life, I give in sacrifice
Poor Her breath hung frozen, in the cold night air Slivers of silver clung, to her long, dark hair Her hands and lips, already coloured blue, Echoes of a softly spoken, god bless you. Shoeless feet, tred lightly, on the cold path, Straining for warmth, huddled tight, under a threadbare scarf. Large borwn eyes, burn so bright, Her face, shows, her sorrowful plight. In an ally, she finally lays down, There she sleeps, on the hard ground. Alone, she died, frozen, Another, poverty victim
Handful of dust. Dreams lay scattered like dust. Hope turns to rust, All around creeps dismay. Hand in hand with betray. No ray of sun shall shine in the place. Where laughter once ran now reside distaste.
Valentine bruise Roses are red My body's blue Another valentine beating For me from you .

Weired bu the Valentinie one for me was one I liked, short and is message clear. The others are good but don't quite rock my boat. Poetry doesn't isnt my scene. | |
