| This post doesn't count I like most genres of books. although I do favour the fantasy/sciience fiction genre more. I also adore comics and grew up readin Desperate Dan and the gang and the Judge Dred, and X-men Marvel comics. To be honest I read most things, even boring cereal packets. I just love reading. Currently I'm just starting on paperback book 2 of the Game of Thrones series- A Clash of Kings. by Georg RR Martin. Having throughly enjoyed reading, as well watching the tv series of the first book, The game of Thrones -A song of Ice and Fire. I'm now devouring the 2nd of the now 7 part book series. Book 1 - A song of Ice and Fire =THE GAME OF THRONES = Genre = Fantasy Fiction. EXTRACT FROM BOOK HERE IN PDFBook 2 - A Clash of Kings. - Quote :
The Seven Kingdoms are divided by revolt and blood feud; beyond their Northern borders, the men of the Night Watch fight the coming of a great cold and the walking corpses that travel with it; on the other side of the ocean, the last of the Kingdom's deposed ruling house mourns her horseclan husband and rears the dragonlets she hatched from his funeral pyre. This is character-driven fantasy--we see most events through the eyes of the sons and daughters of the Stark family, the once and future Kings of the North, whose father's judicial murder started the war If anybody is interested in reading the paperback copy of Book 1, and it's written in English only, please let me know I'm more than happy to put it for a swap for something else.
Livre 2 - A Clash of Kings. - Quote :

| Whoo hoo! Got book 5 of Game of Thrones 'A Dance with Dragons' yesterday. Having devoured the others in quick sucession I was impatient for this one. Then I find out there is to be another. ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! What I can say is, books 1-3 all follow on each other. Book 4 doesn't it focus on Kings Landing and is different format. That doesn't make is a lesser book its just throws you a bit reading it, especially if you are like me and like certain characters and want to find out whats happening to them. Then it is very annoying. But you do get to read about some of the lesser characters so to speak. Book 5 follows on from books 1-3 again and fills in the gaps of book 4. And its a monster book. | |

| Reading first book of Game of Thrones. First book in years I've read. Not a fan of reading, much prefer moving images than words. | |

My translator will explose ! probably. Livre 10 -12

| On third book of Game of Thrones series. Loving it still. Gohol of a kindle app for my iphone, so gonna see whats around for that.
Loved the Sherlock TV series, really old one, don't know who it was but he was a great Sherlock , looked like Dracula. Might read Sherlock books. Other half likes Patricia Cornwalls thrillers. He reads them out loud sometimes when we're chilling. Not bad books in the thriller range. Kay Scarpetta series is good especially Bodyfarm. Ace book he read it all to me. Wonder if I can get him to read child tales and with the funny voices.
