Out of curiosity, what made you decide to apply a post count limit to the graphics board? After all, it tends to be the most active part so wouldn't it make more sense to show it off?

I think Gris decided it, as its her baby..
The reason the movies/games etc had a post count applied is we seemed to have new members, as many as 4 or 5 a day, and not a single one posted anything.. As soon as the post count was applied they strangely stopped signing up..

Out of curiosity, what made you decide to apply a post count limit to the graphics board? After all, it tends to be the most active part so wouldn't it make more sense to show it off? As Gaz said that is my idea and switching it off made people log in more. It put a stop the 'guests' from checking things out and not bothering to do either join or log in. Many forums do the same. Not everything in a forum show up to just guests, thats what makes people join p as memeber to gain acess to those hidden gems. As Gaz said, since the switches happen these flyby posters have stopped. You can also Email the admins to ask for your old log in details. Admins can see such. Why so interested in the graphic side, you've not partipated in it for years literally 2009 was your last activity there. Very strange query?

| Sorry, yes, I understand that but I'm already a top poster for this month... The trouble with this kind of forum is that they ( and this is going to sound ruder than I mean it to be ) stagnate so easily. There doesn't seem to be a pulling force. I think we need a bit of a shake up.
What does forumotion offer in terms of integration - twitter, rss, blogs, etc?
How much freedom do you get for your own code?
I guess it's both a curse and virtue of this kind of forum but if I didn't already know that there was such a cool group of people here I wouldn't keep coming back.
I can't believe I'm already being critical; I apologise but it's only because I feel this forum deserves to be more popular...
More importantly though how is everyone doing?
I think once I've moved house I'll have a bit of time to start battling. I guess I'd better get a few posts up in preparation; How many do I need exactly?
As for my other account I'm not particularly bothered about it but if it could remain active, at least for a while so as I revisit some of the threads I've been a part of, I would be grateful; Otherwise, if you'd like to keep things tidy, please PM me the email address associated with it and I'll transfer back.

| Now thats the turnip w e love and adore. Ballsy and argumentative. I will hold your to you to re-entering the graphic battles. Everyting stagnates and goes through a metamorphis at some point. Too much choice too little time is what does it. Facebooks is jsut one of those things that will run its course as a new version arrives. We have a facebook page for the site, no idea who was runningt. I've got the twitter side and I thin the youtube as well. Can't rem now. Normally I'm on the Maddogz deviant page | |

| Welcome or should that be welcome back again. I'm a noob here but I posted more than you had in along while. I'm here for the graphics but I do post in other sections as well. Can't stand bookface, overblown bag of wind that sells your info to anybody. | |

Hello and thank you mileeba.
While I'm not the biggest fan of Facebook and their ever changing privacy policies either I do think that, really, anything one decides to post on the internet is as good as public property. To see it in any other way is to get bitten in the bum at some stage.

You can't be critical of lack of posting, where by your own ommission you're not posting either or have for along time. Does strike me as very odd all of this.

| Welcome. Isn't it usual to post more, before pissing on forums for being quiet. Not piss on them from the onset. Shame more don't post, just log in and out. If you can log in you can make at least one post. Why bother being a memeber if all you do is log in and out again.

| Wait, what? First of all, if anyone feels 'pissed on' may I suggest that, at the very least, you take a shower before we continue; Unless, of course, that's what you're into; in which case, carry on ... If you've just got back then hi, do you feel better now? If you never left then you're a dirty, dirty bugger! Now then, just to clarify, going beyond merely acknowledging the problem to actually suggesting solutions is considered 'pissing on', is it? | |

I suppose whining about it is more fun than trying to fix it anyway, right?
