| So we are only discussing high budget CGI? The sort of thing you see in blockbuster films? Which, the majority of the time, still produces a noticeable difference.
Everything else should be ignored? Hentai, for example...
Out of curiosity is Child abuse in literature acceptable?

| The point is CGI very often doesn't look realistic, even in high budget movies. So if you are saying realism is the basis on which to judge then you are accepting the majority of computer generated child porn.
It, at least, begs the question, where do you draw the line?

| That's the whole point T, where do we draw the line? Cartoon sex sites are meant to be funny and many do see it as that, I don't particularly because it shows incestuous scenes.
Whether CGI porn looks realistic or not, it's still depicting a certain image designed to titillate, the argument here is that no real child is being hurt or abused, I still don't like the idea of it though. The whole issue of child sex abuse sickens me and I struggle to see any positives.

Exactly...? I just think the makers intent is irrelevant, it's the viewers perception that matters. Take 'Shock videos' for example; A huge internet phenomenon at the moment. - 2girls1cup. 2girls1finger, 3guys1hammer, beheading, stoning, all that vile stuff... The majority of these were not created to entertain the masses, but that is exactly what a lot of them are now... entertainment.

| This throws up another question........
How many "normal" people would watch it just to see what it's like?
