| Whats your favourite? On a man, woman? Was on the phone to Virgin last night for almost 45 minutes, the girl on the other end was from Northern Ireland and I think I fell in love. Love any Irish or Welsh accent on a lady. Cant stick a Welsh blokes accent, secong only to Brummies ... I feel suicidle after hearing / talking to a Brummie. Could talk to a Geordie all day long, though it sounds dog rough on a girl, same as Scouse. The Scottish accent scares the shite out of me, like every sentence will end in a head butt. Oh and Cockneys and Mancs should be slapped. Yup, thats pretty much everyone offended. Ee by gum ... your turn now | |

| Love the Scottish accent ( now I understand what they are saying) especially the really quirky sayings, and can now even recognise the difference from west to east. Love talking to MR & Mrs TW on the phone, although I think Mr TW is harder to understand occassionally. Same as you with the Liverpool and Geordies Bee.......always loved their accents When I chat to Harrythedog, he just makes me laugh, especially when he "dirty phone calls " me......he just sounds like Frank butcher even though he's originally from Dorset! His good lady wife Jayne has a really cute Derby accent and I have no problem understanding her, same with Roland Rat as he's from there too............I suppose that's because they are near enough our neighbours. Really don't mind the Manc or Brummie accents either TBH ......being in between the two you sort of get used to them. Heard Brads on the phone, now although he was slightly inebriated he was pure Yorkshire....and sounded proper Emmerdale.....Still another nice accent. I like the Southern Irish accent more than the northern, the southern is softer and slightly slower......we once met a northern Irish family on holiday.....not the foggiest? I absolutely HATE our accent........we sound the thickest, dumbest, stupidest people!!!!! I can spot another fellow Stokie on TV as soon as he even opens his gob! An Example.............. ayup duck ow at? Cos keek a bo, agenst a wo, ed eet back und bost eet? (old potteries) ast got me snappin ready? may und mar lady.... Your turn to go on the list next Bee! | |

| I love the Southern Irish too, not so much the Northern Irish ( too shouty and brings to mind Ian Paisley and Gerry Adams..)
Cant abide Birmingham, West Brom, Wolverhampton ( all the Black Country areas )
Like the Bristol accent ( a la Tony Pulis ) and the Cornish....
Scouse and Geordies for me too.............Like the Welsh too.......
Dont like Londoners ( a la Danny friggin Dyer )

Good girl!!! Although i have to agree with Bee, a scouse accent on a girl doesn't sound too great. I personally can't stand Australian accents and Brummies and whatever accent they talk Wigan way. As for favs, i like the Cockney accent and Geordie especially on a girl My

| For men, scottish, softer irish tang or french. Midlander accent has a soft spot of me. Women, welsh. Reminds me of my nan. Can't stand brum or geordie. A brum woman at full pelt is cruelty to humanity. | |

| Well ok Mr picky, who should now be renamed pickypushempullu. I have a soft spot for the Midlander accent except Gaz's. who should stop speaking immediately to save all our poor ears. Ok now. | |
