Think i'll do what he said and await the 50"LED baby coming out, should cost roughly the same as a small family car....

Never bought BluRay (i always go for the rips though) so i'm in the dark as to hopw much they go for...

Yeah, I think 50 is gonna be too big for our living room ... couldn't see any at Brighthouse anyway.

I won't be buying any discs, sack that ... I'll probably end up selling the player. We don't even own a DVD Player (apart from the kids 2 in 1 telly upstairs), rely on the PS3 as a player, and play them all through a usb stick anyway. Next on the list, hopefully be able to replace that next week.

Do you not play films on a usb with the 360? Its a million times easier and you don't have to bother with discs, unless you like to have a collection? Me, I'm not fussed, watch it delete it - move on.

I only use the xbox for games or for dvd's that may be dodgy on the dvd player itself...

Get the kids to make a card...that's always more special than a bought one and get them to pick some flowers if there's any about....saving you a packet!!
