| Evening Stranger I'm not saying it was because of that Rick, just guessing I was watching The real ER the other night and they were in Carlisle General A&E, i kept listening out for your accent , I heard one doctor who was from Stoke and 3 patients who had a slight Geordie twang? I thought you would have a slight scottishy twang more so? | |

| Nah we have no scottish twang here and yep we have a slight geordie twang its hard to explane and even stranger because we have loads of scottish peps in carlisle being so close to the border but we seem to have an accent all of our own lol Soz If that dont make much sence its the beers fault | |

| Thanks fellas, He's got up for some food at least, I rang one vet and they wanted £109 before they had even looked at him It's emergency vets.....I rang the PDSA but he wasn't covered because I already had my 3 pet limit so I asked them "What do I do, be cruel and just leave him to die?" they agreed to see him, i gave them a £20 donation but I still have to take him to a private vet tomorrow for medication. | |

| really hope they get well. i always hate to see pets in bad shape
vets can sometimes be caring though. i had a dog that went from being perfectly fine to swayed back and blind in two weeks. and those kind vets said they could try to find a cure but they would advise we just put him down do to the cost. bastards

Great stuff but 109 quid is just mad and that was probably just because the vet had to get up out of his chair then there would have been the costs on top of that..and did the PDSA tell you what medication the poor thing needed??? Edit: and thegreatest thats shit m8

| I know, there was a poor dog put to sleep while we were in there, his back legs had gone and he was really wheezy, he lay waiting to go in with a smile on his face and just never came back out. Yes the vet said he had received Synolux and Metacam, an anti-inflammatory and an anti-biotic and gave me a letter to take to the new vet tomorrow. I think he's ok, he's resting up lots and the drooling has gone a bit now, the vet said it was because he was licking at infection and ingesting it again. | |
