Mother And 12-Year-Old daughter 'In Knife Brawl'

A 12-year-old girl and her mother are fighting for life after an apparent knife brawl with each other.




The pair were taken to hospital in a critical condition after being discovered with stab wounds in Southall, west London.

Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident, a Scotland Yard source said.

A Metropolitan police spokesman said: "Police were called at
approximately 1430 today following reports of two females suffering from
stabbing injuries.

"Officers discovered a woman believed to be aged 30 to 40 years and a girl with knife injuries."

The London Ambulance Service and the air ambulance were called.

The spokesman added: "They have both been taken to a north London
hospital where they are both described as being in a critical
condition."
