opening tabson fire fox

I cant seem to open a new tab for a diferent page it just started doing it yestrday any ideas

as u can see when I go to click it it doesentopen a new tab

So it does literally nothing?

Is it the only button that doesn't work?

Run Firefox in safe-mode ( Firefox safe-mode not Windows - you'll have a shortcut to it in your Start menu ). If the problem stops then go back to normal firefox and try disabling addons one by one ( starting with the most recently added or updated ).

I'm not sure it's addon related since we don't have much information but with Firefox it's always a good place to start.

I had that problem. I was told its an addon but I got fed up with running through them all so deleted Firefox and re did it. Don't do it unless you've backed up your favourties or you'll end up cursing worse than me.

Skype add-on, Microsoft .NET framework add-on or Java. are the known ones that cock up Firefox. Also some extensions can do this.

So... did you sort it out?
