make a animated gif,basic tut

this is my first attempt gifs or any sig/gif work at all
so what i did was found a clip of a movie and loaded it into SolveigMM AVI Trimmer,
i edited out the clip i wanted
then ran it through Movie to Animated GIF Converter
i sellected the frames one by one and named them gif1 gif2 ect and put them into a folder,
i then put each frame into the photo editor and resized them and added what effects i wanted and saved them back in the same folder overwriting the original and so on ,i used paint.net but photoshop will do the same
i then opened UnFREEz -
i highlighte all the saved frames then draged the first file over and all the rest followed ,
click animate and job done,

all freeware
