File hosting/Sandbox

Had a reliable file host until the MPAA decided to close it in a general sweep. Looking for another one or sandbox. Anybody got any good ones or know of any that are good and free of the MPAA.

What do you mean by sandbox?

Assuming that you just want a general purpose storage solution, why not try out -

dropbox;
box;
ubuntu one;
CloudDrive;
Skydrive; or even,
Gmail

Although Gmail clearly isn't intended for general file storage it provides 7gb and counting of free space ( per account ).

Alternatively, you could use github or pastebin for sharing code/text and soon we should have Google play for all sorts of entertainment ( currently promising space for 20,000+ songs free of charge ).

There are actually hundreds if not thousands of options, it really depends on what you actually want to use it for.

You must bear in mind that the Mega' case set a precedent though..

If you would be so kind as to post the conclusion that you came to or a summary of what you've found so far; I would imagine that quite a few people here would be interested to know what you have learned on your search.

What you need to look out for is file hosts that ain't hosted in the US http://depositfiles.com/en/ is worth a look at we use it and have had no problems there is http://uploaded.to/ also

And you wont get a sandbox for free
