This is a picture of a bus I used to live in, I only got the picture recently from a friend as I had lost all the ones I had. I have had a go at cleaning it up, what do you all think??? Here a before and after...........Still have some work to do on it though

That's amazing man, top, top notch.

I'm wondering if you could do the same kind of thing with old family photos? I've had a bash at touching up old pics and failed badly ...

Done with topaz clean and the clone stamp tool?

I think it's very well done; maybe sharpen it just a little.

Correct.....and some soft brush, as you said its a bit blurry at the bottom, this was my first attempt at cleaning a really naff photo so will give it another go and sharpen it more as you have suggested, thanks Picture cleaning 752815

Oddly enough I like the first picture. It has nostalgia written all over it. That said very cleverly retouched up.
