One of my favourite films as a kid so a re-make now should be good with all the CGI, we'll see.....I just hope they haven't over played it.

It got a from me based soley on the orignal vs copy. copy sucked! I is not amused.
As a movie on its own merit not riding on the original it would have faired better.
When it remakes history to suit its needs, really gets me
Io was a white cow stuck in form as punishment fromHera as Io was Zeus's lover. She romaed the world for eterntiy until one day she was set back inot human form, where she gave birth to Zeus's child Heracles who saved Promtheus.
As for Perseus, helped by Hermes and Athetha, married Andromeda.
Posideon was the Kraken's keeper not Hades. Here endth your history lesson

History..? Really..?
Fables and stories surely seeing as its all about Greek gods..?
Its tantamount to saying The Bible is required reading for History Graduates...

Meh.... 6/10 at best....
You get a brilliant story, brilliant director and brilliant everything else, you get Lord of the Rings...
You get the opposite of all the above and you get this mess of a movie...a shiny liam neeson, an overacting ralph fiennes and a mel gibson/clint eastwood clone in the lead role, gemma arterton as blank as ever and all filmed in a flint mill in Wales (with added smoke machines)
I read up on and had a huge interest in Greek/Roman/Egyptian and Norse mythology when i was younger and this still bored me in places...
They need to make a live action Beowulf & Grendel movie, cracking story...
