I'm pissed its gone .Ive got used to being spoon fed, it looks like Ive got to learn how to feed my self again from now on , all the public sites Ive viewed dont come close, why the hell they didn't clone there data base and put it in the public domain i dint know , i know there is a lot of bad feeling about the forum but the main site was pretty neutral, [personal infringements accepted]
Not totally true mate....
They took it upon themselves to ban people because they didn't like them and say they were uploading viruses, which they knew was a lie.
I got hit with one of those, wen I first joined. At least the mod/ admin who sorted it all out, apologized for the upstarts pram moment. The upstart tried it again but failed.
I can't see the point in banning people, just because they stand up to the bullies. I am still a member of the forum, I haven't checked in to find out if I am banned or not. Probably am seeing as I am here and that seems to be a reason to ban people. Will Mini keep the forum if the main site is so wiped out? Financially the forum is not worth maintaining.
I think the owners, ought to look more closely at the antics of its forum and step in. The forum reflects on the main site. It is quite easy to be tarred by a power-crazed lunatic banning everybody left -right and centre. The rate of knots folk seem to be being kicked off, there are not going to be many left live.

Sounds good to me mate
"Mininova Forum, may you rot and burn in hell. May your walls fall and may I live to tell. May all the world forget you ever stood. And may all the world regret you did no good."
TW should like that

The biggest joke on the Mini forum is that all the ones who are posting saying they will stay, are all lurkers crawling out of the woodwork. If they couldn't be arsed to post before, why on earth will they post now?
I got a 3 year ban ..........August 2012, doubt I'll have to wait that long, I can't see it being there much longer than Christmas.

I might be wrong but there forum will probably free from the people who host the main site.
Sorry, I meant the main site pays for the forum software and running costs, it is not a 'free' forum as such, like this one. Without going to look, I can't remember seeing if it was hosted by Mini itself or off a third party site like this site is. There are hosting costs, and data cost attached to it, plus upkeep and as it is Invision it is quite a hefty size to start with let alone all the things that go on it. The forum is expendable and always is the first to go. If mini can't make a go of things now its hand are tied, the forum won't survive either.
