| There are some people who have notion that in the bedroom they are at their most vulnerable and exposed.
I have also wondered, if this notion of vulnerability is the cause of why people act so different in the bedroom. That is not just the sexual aspect I am talking about, although that's apart of it. Why is the bedroom the one room that people feel at their most insecure and vunerable?

On the contrary, Gris, the bedroom is a place to feel very secure and confident, a venue where one can strut with pride and gallop with abandon one's prowess | |

| Hey I'm vunerable in it. Especially when I hear the pitter patter of heavy paws and then a leap and a hello slobber mum from 2, 30 kilo bullies. Vulnerable oh yes and pinned down while they lick your ears and face and they leap about until you manage to get up. Oh the joys of early rising dogs. Not forgetting to mention the burglar gas attempts. | |

| Vulnerable yes cos it is the place where we sleep and cannot control what goes on around us while sleeping. We are at that point totally helpless and unprotected. Our senses are on standby so sight, hearing and smell are no good to us. we are at the mercy of one and all.

| I think it is more we are on standby not our senses. That part that is us inthe brain turns off but we still can hear, smell etc while we sleep. For those, like me who sleep with the eyes open at times, probably see too. Yes it is one reason the bedroom has a sense of vunerability about it, we are naked in it, (GAZ GO AWAY I CAN SEE YOUR MIND WORKING, not that nude naked) hence why some feel most afraid. | |
