A Premier League footballer was held at knife point in a raid at his home.
Four masked men broke into the home of Blackburn Rovers
midfielder Vince Grella in Wilmslow, Cheshire, and demanded jewellery,
watches and the keys to his car.
They fled in the Australian's BMW X5 which was later found dumped in nearby Sale Moor.
Grella, 29, was left shaken but uninjured - his wife and daughters were out when it happened around 10pm on Sunday.
The raid is just the latest in a long line of break-ins at footballers' homes in the area in the past two years.
They included robbers targeting Liverpool captain Steven
Gerrard's house when he was away with the club, knife raids at the
homes of Emile Heskey and Roque Santa Cruz and an armed gang breaking
into the home of Manchester United player Darren Fletcher.
