Bring our troops home from an ultimately unwinnable war or stay for as many years as it takes to to get control.....

Me, bring em out tomorrow..its our Vietnam.

Its not a war, its fukin Russian Roulette...theres rarely a bullet fired in anger anymore, its just wondering if your next step is your last...

We have to stay for life. Second we pull out the Taliban move straight back in. That is the sad fact.

Is it worth the bloodshed, is any war worth it?

Afghanistan is a tricky place and an even trickier place to westernized, If that is what is wanted. They treat women like second class citizens and sharia's law exists there.

Does than make us a mockery or a force welcome to overthrow the taliban. Bear in min the Taliban pay some of the Afghans money to look the other way. Poverty being a real problem. Then there is the Opium cultivation. Britain can't go in holey than though when we too grew and encourage such cultivations in the past and looked the other way on more than one occasion to.

War, never worth it when in the end we are signed over in writing. Look at out war with Germany. What have we done, rolled over and lost our worth to the might of the EU. That is the ultimate betrayal and degradation to those who fought with and for us.

A war is won by governmental gifting. Our blood loss and suffering is inconsequential. Yet still people join and go to war. Why?

Sharia law?
Women being second class citizens?
Opium trade?
Taliban?
Poverty?

Is all the above why we're really there..?

No..its because after september 11th Bin Laden was thought to be hiding in the Afghan Bora Bora mountain range and the Taliban refused Americas bully boy tactics to hand him over..

The same Taliban that is that were invited to the whitehouse by the Clinton administration when they did an immense job of repelling the Russian invasion of Afghanistan..

Oh, and central to that resistance was a certain Osama Bin Laden........ Afghanistan 878796

That and ensuring oil trade is unhindered. Bin Laden is a sore spot in the American governments side. Taliban had a recruitment hot spot in Afghanistan. It is also a good place to keep an eye on India.

Our wars are never so simple as to get rid of this, it contains main twists and turns as well.
