Really sorry hear that mate..i know first hand how it feels....Andi left her bag, (containing purse full of bank cards and cash, house keys, mobile and irreplaceable photos) in the bus depot on xmas eve a few years ago....i was fitting new locks on the front door late into xmas eve...

TW I lifted the money the night before to go to the town from school and the kid was running around crazy m8. Im gutted yes but fuck it no point dwelling on it was really upset earlier on about but what can I do the cards etc have been cancelled and some junkie bastard probably has found it.

Get down the police station, report it as going missing from your pocket while you were out in town (you think it may have been pick pocketed or somethin')

Police will give you a unique crime reference number.

Take the ref number down the job centre and they will give you a crisis payment for the exact ammount, no questions asked and with nothing to pay back.

But ONLY with the reference number. The police will give you it automatically because all it means is that you have reported a POSSIBLE crime.

To be honest i'm fuckin' gutted ... the thing still works, just wont read any disc. So I can still play my films via a usb stick but cant play any legit DVD's or games.

I can get £120 for it in the pawn shop though and buy a brand new slim one for £220 so ...

sorry to hear that bee thats why I have came to the decision not to sell the new slim one I got just in case my other one fucks up.

on another note I think you can phone Sony up and tell them about it and they come and collect it but you will be waiting a couple weeks for it to get fixed but they usually just send you a new one out.
