Vista query. Empty
PostSubject: Vista query.   Vista query. Icon_minitimeSun Oct 11, 2009 8:36 am

Something odd I noticed on my desktop PC. I have exactly the same OEM Vista Home premium software as my daughter's laptop.Including the same serial number. Both are made by the same manufacturer. Her laptop is 3 years older than my recently acquired desktop PC.

Has anybody got a desktop PC with Vista Home prem on it I can compare with.

Mine seems to be set up for a laptop.By that I mean, configurations for running on battery and mains. Which obviously works for a laptop and isn't applicable for a desktop PC. I know its rudely vista but I have had a previous Desktop PC from the same company, OK it ran XP, but this one seems out of sorts. Might be Vista or what?

Any help going here, appreciated to find out i this is normal for Vista to be like this irregardless of what computer it is on.
